MARK OLIVER - Chief Executive

Mark founded O&O in 1995 having previously been the BBC's first Head of Strategy from 1989 to 1995. Mark directly advises a number of media and entertainment company CEOs on strategy and finance as well as heading up O&O. He has authored articles and reports on a number of media and entertainment industry issues and is often quoted and interviewed in the national press and on national TV and radio, as well as giving occasional keynote presentations at industry conferences and seminars.

Mark has been adviser to the Number 10 Policy Unit and the Department of Culture, Media and Sport. He began his career working as an adviser on regulation, privatization, strategy and finance at NERA Inc and then Deloitte, Haskins and Sells (now part of PwC in the UK). He has a BA from Hertford College, Oxford.

SEAN MCGUIRE - Managing Director

Sean McGuire joined O&O in 2006 from strategy consultants LEK where he managed many of their media, entertainment and telecoms sector assignments in the UK and Europe for leading corporations, regulators and private equity groups. Sean is in charge of all O&O project and market analysis work for clients and brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge of strategy development within the media and telecoms sectors.

Prior to LEK, Sean was Director of Strategic Planning at Telewest Communications plc, and before that was Head of Strategy at BBC News. He started his career as an associate at LEK. He has an MA in Engineering and Management Studies from Trinity Hall, Cambridge, and an MBA from INSEAD.

VICTORIA FLEMINGTON - Commercial Director

Victoria heads up the financial, administration, marketing and contracting activities at O&O as well as advising clients on publishing, intellectual property and licensing issues. She has over 15 years experience in B2B publishing and marketing and has a BA from Kings College, London.

DAVID COCKRAM - Senior Consultant

David joined O&O in 2007 having previously worked in market analysis and business development at NDS Group plc. Prior to joining NDS in 2003, David was an analyst at Datamonitor plc as part of their interactive TV research team. David takes a leading role in O&O assignments covering consumer technology, broadband distribution and software applications. David has an MA from Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge University.

JAMES WILSON - Senior Consultant

James rejoined O&O in 2007 as a Senior Consultant from Bear Stearns & Co, the US investment bank, where he worked for two years as an Equity Research analyst covering European consumer and professional publishing companies such as EMAP, Lagardere, Reed Elsevier and Pearson, and marketing services companies such as Aegis. James manages a variety of O&O's mid-size consulting projects and presently focuses on UK media.

James was first employed by O&O between 2003 and 2005, when he worked as an Associate on TV, radio, publishing and sports sector assignments. He previously worked in sports marketing. He has a BA in History from the University of Bristol, and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Studies from the University of Birmingham

THERESA VIMMERSLEV - Senior Consultant

Theresa joined O&O in 2001 and takes a leading role in all O&O's assignments covering continental European markets. While at O&O Theresa has worked on projects covering TV production, film distribution, sport rights, radio broadcasting, consumer magazines and TV broadcasting.

Theresa has an MBA with distinction from the European Management School (ESCP-EAP) and speaks seven European languages.

DR STEPHANIE LEACH - Senior Associate

Stephanie joined O&O in 2006 when completing her PhD in Economics from Imperial College London which she was subsequently awarded with distinction. Since joining O&O Stephanie has worked on assignments covering sports rights, TV broadcasting and internet advertising. Stephanie leads O&O's statistical analysis and econometrics resource. Prior to her PhD she studied economics at Columbia University in New York and at Bristol University in the UK as well as working in the US hedge fund sector.
